CREATIVE RESEARCH COLLABORATIVE (CRC): Interdisciplinary Faculty Fellowship
ORS and Inworks is pleased to announce the creation of the “Creative Research Collaborative (CRC) Interdisciplinary Faculty Fellowship”. This is a year long fellowship to encourage campus wide faculty collaboration across disciplines and colleges. 2015-16 is the pilot year for this initiative and provides University of Colorado Denver faculty development funding and a one course offload (upon approval by department chair or head) for successful applicants. It is open to any full time faculty with at least a 20% research component to their contract with the University.

INWORKS: AN ACADEMIC SKUNK WORKS (DESIGNING SOLUTIONS, CREATING INNOVATORS)
The “inWorks” is a new initiative of the University of Colorado Denver │ Anschutz Medical Campus that draws together faculty, staff and students from across the two campuses, as well as entrepreneurs and leaders from industry, government, education and the community to address problems of importance to human society. The primary purpose of the inWorks is to create innovative solutions to some of the world’s most challenging problems while, in the process, creating lifelong innovators. We do this by scaffolding collaborative innovation and providing extensive facilities for rapid prototyping.

The CU Denver Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) is a competitive program designed to financially support research projects for CU Denver undergraduate students. Undergraduate research is an opportunity to extend learning outside the traditional classroom, laboratory, or studio; to utilize creativity and curiosity in the development of new knowledge, art, or innovation; to become more self-confident and independent; and to gain experience in presenting results to peers and mentors.
